The term "doula" comes from the Greek language and means "woman caregiver". Today doulas are an important resource for mothers and their partners. They provide educational, emotional, and physical support throughout the last few weeks of pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period. Natashia's goal with her work is to best support Moms and their partners in feeling empowered and nurtured throughout labor, birth, and the postpartum period. Natashia currently lives in and serves families in the NYC metropolitan area.
